Amate Camp is a sacred ground for healing and introspection. The Yoga Shala (sunrise-facing) hosts active movement practices like Vinyasa and breathwork, while the Sunset Deck is designed for sound healing, cacao ceremonies, and inner journeying.
Nature is central to every experience: a lush garden filled with herbs and fruit trees supports grounding rituals and elemental connection. The Tree House Sanctuary, an intimate space with excellent acoustics, welcomes journaling, card readings, and sound therapy.
Guests can soak in the natural pool and jacuzzi, ideal for post-practice relaxation or stargazing. Water is consciously treated to honor its role in purification.
A traditional temazcal ceremony offers powerful detoxification and emotional release. The sacred sweat lodge represents the womb of Mother Earth, supporting rebirth and inner renewal. Nearby, the ceremonial fire circle serves as a place for nightly rituals, prayer, music, and community sharing.
At Amate Camp, food is deeply woven into the healing journey. The camp offers 100% vegan, plant-based meals, crafted with seasonal, organic ingredients—many harvested from their own gardens and orchards.
Dishes draw from Mexican, Italian, and Ayurvedic traditions, providing both flavor and functional nourishment. Ferments, herbs, and whole ingredients are favored, while processed foods are avoided completely. The kitchen’s guiding principle: cook with love, serve with intention.
Guests have continuous access to a fruit bar, local herbal teas, and Kangen alkaline water (pH 9.5) to support detoxification and hydration.
Meals are served in two open-air restaurants with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. The communal, screen-free dining experience invites presence and connection—with nature, your plate, and fellow guests.
The culinary ethos mirrors the spirit of the retreat: pure, grounded, and nourishing on every level.
