Introduction

Arctic Bath, nestled along the Lule River, offers a seasonal spectacle from summer’s midnight sun swims to winter’s Northern Lights. Originating from a vision during Treehotel’s inauguration in 2010, the concept of a floating sauna evolved into a circular structure blending natural materials with the landscape. Designed by Bertil Harström and Johan Kauppi in 2013, the resort boasts a 24 m2 floating double room with a lounge area and wooden deck, floating in summer and frozen in winter.

The Suite Cabin, a 62 m2 retreat for two, features a loft bedroom with river views and blurs indoor-outdoor boundaries. Land Cabins, accommodating up to five guests, offer peaceful riverside sanctuaries. Positioned amidst lush vegetation, they provide tranquil escapes for guests to unwind and immerse themselves in nature’s beauty.

Arctic Bath’s allure lies in its harmonious blend of luxury and wilderness, offering guests a unique experience in every season. Whether floating under the summer sun or nestled amidst winter’s ice, the resort promises an unforgettable escape into the heart of Swedish Lapland.

Wellness Options:

Established in 2008 by Anna-Lena Wiklund Rippert and Johan Wiklund, Arctic Bath embarked on a journey to harness the natural herbs and berries of Swedish Lapland for opulent skincare products. Drawing on the potent properties of blueberries, cloudberries, and lingonberries, Arctic Bath crafts its formulations from seed oils, ensuring a commitment to both purity and sustainability.

Within the SPA’s serene confines, guests can unwind with two dry saunas for muscle relief and detoxification, complemented by a steam sauna offering respiratory benefits. Outdoor Jacuzzis and an open-air cold pool further elevate the rejuvenating experience.

Delve into a curated selection of treatments designed to foster holistic well-being, ranging from invigorating cold baths to soothing foot therapies and sauna rituals. Immerse yourself in the Arctic Steps for foot rejuvenation or partake in Siddha and Marma Ayurvedic treatments for harmonizing body and mind. Whether seeking solace amidst the forest or participating in guided meditation and private yoga sessions, guests can achieve a comprehensive retreat for the mind and body.

Additional activities such as hiking, husky adventures, kayaking, horseback riding, and an Arctic Herbs workshop offer further avenues for exploration and enrichment.
