A Gay Men's Summer Camp: Reclaiming the Wild Heart (Mt. Shasta Gay Men's Summer Camp)

Mount Shasta, CA, United States - Date 08/12/2026

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

A members-only gathering for a small circle of gay men (8–14 participants) seeking authenticity, mindfulness, and reconnection with the living world, anchored by the sacred energy of Mount Shasta. The days move fluidly between stillness and adventure: forest walks, mountain swims, athletic and grounding hikes to waterfalls, drinking springs, alpine meadows, and natural lakes. Ceremonial life is woven throughout, with opening and closing fire circles, sacred sound bowl healing, and quiet rest beneath the trees. Participants learn from the land itself through a medicinal plant walk and wild foraging on the private sanctuary. Restorative downtime is built in via the infrared sauna, outdoor soaking tub, and sun deck.

ABOUT THE ORGANIZER

hosted by Stephen Michael (also referenced as Stephen Baldonado), founder of Sacred Way Wellness and the soul behind The Sanctuary in Mount Shasta, California. He is a land steward, natural herbalist, energy worker, and lifelong nature devotee who has dedicated his life to cultivating land and sacred space where people can reconnect with the Earth and their higher selves. Based in the powerful energy fields of Mount Shasta, Stephen has been leading sacred retreats and gatherings that blend ancient wisdom with grounded, embodied hospitality. His philosophy centers on the belief that healing happens most naturally when we align with the rhythms of the Earth and the simplicity of presence — that the land itself is a teacher.
