The "Sweetness of Being" retreat centers on the Italian idea of "dolce far niente," meaning the joy of doing nothing. This week-long retreat encourages participants to relax and relish the simple joys of life. Enjoy leisurely mornings, extended yoga sessions, hearty brunches beneath a pergola, peaceful walks through the countryside, refreshing dips in the pool or the Mediterranean Sea, and enchanting evenings with sound baths, yoga Nidra, and restorative practices. This retreat is crafted to celebrate female physiology and foster a connection to one's inherent feminine wisdom and inner strength, highlighting the importance of sisterhood and tranquility.

ACCOMMODATION

The retreat takes place at YogApulia, a boutique retreat center nestled in a valley surrounded by olive and almond groves in Puglia, Italy. The accommodations feature six twin bedrooms and one double bedroom, each with a private ensuite bathroom. These rooms have been renovated with locally sourced materials, creating a luxurious yet understated ambiance. The center boasts a spacious outdoor courtyard for communal dining, multiple outdoor terraces for relaxation, and a swimming pool framed by green olive trees and red soil. The accommodations are centered around old trulli, traditional stone structures that remain cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

The retreat is guided by Veronica Santini, an internationally recognized yoga instructor with ten years of teaching experience. She specializes in Vinyasa, Yin Yoga, and Yoga for Female Health. Having studied with esteemed teachers, Veronica brings their insights into her mindful and detailed teaching approach. She is passionate about helping students find their authentic practice and deepen their connection to their inner selves. Veronica's retreats focus on honoring female physiology and promoting personal growth, making each session a transformative and healing experience.
