Future Found Sanctuary is Cape Town’s first and only 5-star luxury regenerative travel hotel, on the slopes of Table Mountain within the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Table Mountain National Park. Privately owned by Jim Brett and Ed Gray and managed by Newmark Hotels, the property occupies 5.4 acres in the Constantia winelands corridor, offering just 13 suites across four distinct villa configurations: Maison Noir, Villa Verte, Mountain View Villa, and Forest Pods — accommodating a maximum of 26 guests. This deliberate intimacy is central to the experience.
Curated South African art, biophilic interiors, and natural spring water originating from Table Mountain all contribute to an atmosphere that feels grounded and purposeful. The property includes the three-room Sensorium Spa, a dedicated yoga studio, a Technogym fitness centre, five landscaped gardens, three heated pools, and a natural cold plunge pool.
Future Found Sanctuary’s wellness programming is built around its “Whole-Being” framework, expressed through four experiential pillars. RISE encompasses yoga, guided meditation, hikes directly from the property, biokineticist assessments, and personal training. REALIGN brings acupuncture, sound healing sessions, and kinesiology. REFLECT includes Tai Chi, conscious breathwork, and the Rasul Mud Ritual — a multi-sensory cleansing ceremony native to the Ottoman hammam tradition. REST centres on group sound journeys and private Yin Restorative Yoga for deeper restoration.
At the heart of the offering is the three-room Sensorium Spa, which takes guests on a sensory journey through five senses via expert massage therapists, Hammam rituals, steam rooms, and culminates in a dip in one of the heated pools or the natural cold plunge pool, maintained between 10°C and 12°C — fed by the property’s own Table Mountain spring water. Personalized wellness consultations help guests design bespoke programmes of on-site and off-site experiences. The estate’s five gardens, ancient fynbos landscape, and direct access to Table Mountain trails are treated as active elements of the healing environment. Spa bookings require at least 72 hours advance notice via the concierge.
Dining at Future Found Sanctuary is led by Executive Chef Malika van Reenen, a Cape Town native with nearly three decades of experience spanning celebrated properties including the Cape Grace Hotel and private lodges across Zimbabwe, Kenya, and Limpopo. Her Cape Malay heritage and wide-ranging travels inform a culinary style that weaves traditional techniques with vibrant, layered flavours — always rooted in what is seasonal, local, and alive. Menus change daily based on the freshest ingredients from the property’s own gardens and the surrounding landscape.
The farm-to-table philosophy extends to the property’s own honey harvest, garden produce, and spring water from Table Mountain. All dietary preferences and restrictions — including vegan, gluten-free, and medically specific diets — are accommodated with prior notice. Beverages are included in the stay. Both shared dining at Maison Noir and fully private dining can be arranged.
