WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
We ring in the New Year and greet the sunrise and sunset practicing yoga twice a day to the sound of ocean waves. Our open air yoga studio is situated on the beach overlooking the Pacific ocean and swaying palm trees. Organic farm to table meals nourish body and soul, igniting imagination, connection and conversation. All accommodations have ocean view with grand openings to the outdoors, located just a few steps from the beach.

Nestled between the sparkling waters of the Pacific Ocean and the majestic Sierra Madre Mountains on miles of pristine and private beach, our sustainably conscious boutique retreat is located on the western coast of Mexico, just a half hour complimentary shuttle ride from Zihuatanejo/Ixtapa International Airport. Combining simple elegant indoor / outdoor living with natural beauty and a commitment to improving the environment, part of our retreat funds the local turtle sanctuary as well as help the local community develop sustainable living through permaculture.

ABOUT THE ORGANIZER
Ulrika Engman, E-RYT 500, is a certified yoga teacher and Halprin Life Art practitioner, graduate of Tamalpa Institute and founder of Yoga Journeys, an international travel company, 1999 – present. Born in Sweden, she came to Los Angles, CA in 1991 to study psychology and dance. That same year Ulrika discovered Yoga at Yoga Works in Santa Monica and has been a dedicated yoga practitioner ever since.
Along with leading six – eight annual Yoga Journeys worldwide at top notch, sacred destinations like Bali, Mexico, Peru, Iceland, Greece, Sweden, Egypt and Morocco
