In addition to these events, you’re active in so many areas—your production company, Sacral Chai, and your clothing line. How do you manage these commitments?
I feel I have a fully working inner compass, and that takes me in beautiful directions, following what I love. The times where I take a decision too fast, I often feel it directly and try to listen to what my body says. I know I need to sit with a decision for at least 30 minutes before taking it to fully know what I want.
We are rebranding our production company at the moment, packaging 10 years of filming with Soda/Lime where I work as a Director & Cinematographer into a more narrow and niched service – we call is ” smthngelse” – l focus more on impact and how we can create value and make people feel more around the globe through our productions. Through videos & portraits I’m able to show my feelings & sensitivity.
For example, we did a trip recently with our dear friend and musician Eduardo Castillo, where we traveled around Marrakech and met up with local musicians. We met this guy, Muhammed, who lives next to a hammam, basically in a cave-like place, heating it up 24/7.
In between putting logs on the fire, he plays his gumbri, a West African instrument in the genre of Gnawa music. He played for us, and Eduardo ended up inviting Muhammed to play with him at the concert the next day. It’s such a beautiful way of creating direct impact and bringing love forward.
We’re great at capturing moments, and documenting this in a cinematic way is a great example of the types of projects we want to do more of.
I’ve been an ambassador for Ottway, an Australian clothing brand I really love, for a long time, and we decided to create a clothing line together. It’s called Zephyr, and it’s a new thing I’ve never tried, but something that’s giving me lots of energy.
I do feel that translates in everything I do—the balance between fear and love. I challenge myself to feel free, and from there comes a ton of love and energy.
How do you stay grounded amidst everything?
Yes, I do need to take time for myself. Sometimes I’m good at it, and sometimes I’m not. Breathwork I love, even though I don’t have a routine right now.
Honestly, my fastest way to ground myself is to share something I least want to share with the person I least want to share it with. Basically sharing my fears and not thinking I can handle this myself all the time. More or less just stopping in the moment, making myself vulnerable, and sharing what I fear.
Nowadays, I’m more aware if I’m thinking or feeling, so I basically know that if I’m stuck in my head, there is something I’m afraid of that needs to come out. Bringing it to the surface for myself is one thing, but then sharing it with someone while looking them straight in the eyes is where I really grow and where I start standing tall again. It’s like I’m holding a key to this door. It’s unclear and a bit scary what’s on the other side, but being curious about it helps me to make the decision to go through it. On the other side is always freedom and love, and from there, I can go wherever I want in life.
Also, this interview makes me grounded, knowing you are sharing so much love through your platform with the world, so thank you.
Do you have a spiritual practice or life mudra?
I have this mudra friend taught me, where I basically sit and go through what neutrality, gratitude, love, and compassion mean to me, in that order. In low moments, it helps me to remind myself of what really matters and why I should stay true to my path.
Finally, what’s ahead for you in 2025? Are there any exciting new projects or plans in the works? And how can people get involved with Boogie & Brunches?
Lots of Boogie&Brunches in our kitchen in Ibiza and around the globe Beautiful and heart-filled productions with “Smthngelse” . Moments of presence in the water, surfing. Chai-ceremonies with Sacral Chai – Obviously great health for me, my family, and my friends…And just a life full of abundance
Thank you, Linus, for your time. And yes—let’s dance for more healing and love in this world.
