Terra Rosa sits on the Can Mundet estate in Llagostera, a small municipality in the Girona region of Catalonia. Getting there is straightforward. Barcelona Airport is approximately 1 hour 15 minutes by car; Girona Airport is 30 minutes. By train, guests can reach Sils station in under an hour from Barcelona, and the estate is a 20-minute taxi or transfer from there. A car is recommended for those who want to explore the wider region.

And that wider region is extraordinary. Fifteen minutes from the estate lies Tossa de Mar, a beautifully preserved medieval coastal town with a fortress perched above the sea. The Camí de Ronda — one of Catalonia’s most celebrated coastal walking trails, weaving between hidden coves and pine forests — is easily accessible. Nudist beaches, medieval hill villages, the wild headland of Cap de Creus, and the surrealist town of Cadaqués are all within an easy day trip.
